Description: Miniature broom. Wooden handle with metal wire holding bristles onto it. Orange string holding bristles together. Bristles are hay coloured. May be made from broom corn.
History of Use: Used as a toy by David Freeman's mother, Elizabeth she she was living at 2724 Windsor Street in Halifax. Used aa anaccessory in her dollhouse. May have come from her father's store. Family lived on Windsor Street until 1917 when the house was damaged by the Halifax Explosion. Was played with at this house.
