Narrative: This bottle was most likely a Ayer's Hair Vigor bottle as a result of its shape and size. Inside the bottle would have been a hair serum that was dedicated to "color and dress human hair" (Ayer patent Jan 28 1868). Sources:
Description: A light blue oval shaped bottle with a crown-like closure. The shoulders of the bottle are long and broad. The body, base and shoulders of the bottle all measure the same diameter. On the bottom of the bottle it reads in embossed letters "AYER/ C 46"
