Description: A cobalt blue medicine bottle with the inscription "BROMO-SELTZER/ EMERSON/ DRUG CO/ BALTIMORE MD" on the front of the bottle. The shoulders, body and base all measure the same diameter. On the bottom of the small bottle is an embossed "14."
History of Use: Made and Patented by Emerson Drug Company in Baltimore, Bromo-Seltzer was a medicine used to relieve pain due to heartburn and upset stomach. The cobalt blue bottle is rare, as many drug companies used clear or aqua bottles to sell their products.
