Includes 14 cards, imprinted on back with "Photographed and Published by B. W. KILBURN - Littleton, N. H." 7 photos are of South Africa, 1 of Guelph, Ont., 1 of Japan, 1 of Germany, 1 of China, 1 of Toronto, 1 of the Pan American Exposition, 1 of P.E.I. The 15th card is of Mammoth Trees in California, and is imprinted with " Published by E. & T. ANTHONY & CO., Emporium of American and Foreign Stereoscopic Views. Chromos, albums, magic lanterns and slides. 591 Broadway, opposite Metropolitan Hotel, New York.
- Case for photographs looks like an old case for binoculars.
History of Use: From the home of Captain Frederick Remby, West Dublin. Home dates from 1800 as a wedding gift. Frederick was the great grandfather of Robin Benjamin (donor of artifact). Viewer was used in late 1800's to mid 20th century. Capt. Remby born Feb 3, 1855, died Dec 18, 1942.
